White Cave Escape shortlisted for the Silver Birch Award!
Congratulations to Jennifer McGrath Kent! Her latest book, White Cave Escape, has been shortlisted for the Ontario Library Association's prestigious Silver Birch Award. Her earlier novel, Chocolate River Rescue, was shortlisted for the Silver Birch last year. The Silver Birch is awarded each year to the best Canadian book for readers in grades 3-6, as chosen by the students. White Cave Escape is the exciting sequel to Chocolate River Rescue. This time the young heroes find themselves trapped in a raging forest fire in the woods of New Brunswick.
